28.2 Astra Channel 4 HD problem (Denmark)

Greetings from Denmark. I’m trying to se Formel 1 on 28.2 Channel 4 HD.
I’m trying to recieve Channel 4 HD on 28.2 ASTRA on my 110 cm offset dish. I’m in Denmark. I use an Universal LNB. I recieve a lot of channels but none in the lower frequensy range (Channel 4 HD should be on:

Frequenz:
10.936 MHz
Polarisation:
Vertikal
Symbolrate:
23.000 kSym/s
FEC:
3/4

Any tips, suggestions?

You are trying to receive the UK beam of 28E which doesn't cover Denmark. A possible alternative way to receive Channel 4HD in Denmark is by pointing your dish at 15W. The BBC Satback signal is there on a North Sea beam. I use my GT Combo for BBC Satback and Channel 4 HD comes through well.

Thanks, i will try that. BTW I saw somewhere during googling, that Channel 4 HD is closed since july 2024. Is this only for the 10936 frequency or the channel in generel?

Many years 10-15 years ago i also had a 110 cm dish here in West Denmark. I saw a lot of english channel. I think it was BBC or ITV who transmitted Formel 1 that time. FTA. With my current setup, i get a lot of FTA 28.2E channels, and also a lot of coded Sky Channels, but the FTA Channel 4 HD is not one of them. But i will keep in mind to try the 15W position….sincerely….Michael

If I remember correctly, I think there is a bit of a null running through Denmark.

The results don't look great (pin = no reception) for Denmark.

It's not perfect at this moment,cloudy and very humid, but will probably be better later

ch 4 is alive and well,i watch their news...AND they have splinters channels too! check kingofsat!! Check 10936 V 25000 on their list!! Astra 2E / Astra 2F / Astra 2G (28.2°E) - TV - fréquences - KingOfSat different frequencies further down the list.
