Amos 3 4.0w European Beam

I can usually get most of the Amos 3 H channels OK where I am on a Gibby 1.25m - I check 11389H first, and work my way down from there. One that I can't get though is 11181H.

There was a few H TPs that would not lock Llew, 11181 was one of them, do you get the V TPs ok they come in stronger than the H at my location.

Yes Martin, never a problem with the Verts -

I was doing a few tests here tonight Llew, I was locking all the V TPs, but struggled with the H.

I could only lock 11303 and 11389 at the time of testing, conditions was overcast.
 
You're doing well though Martin, it can be a tricky one given the footprint, and considering your location.
 
11389 locks for me here but not solid enough for a stable picture, Been pretty poor with the Rain all day and its not great at the moment maybe worth a try when we see clearer skys

Its locking fine for me today digi247, clear skies :) , I will go through all the H TPs again when I get time:).
 
Locking OK here with heavy clouds around - but dry.

Blind scan - verticals are generally a lot stronger than horizontals:

On my 1.1m dish I get 22 FTA TV Services from 4W, from the following 3 TPs only:

10759 H 30000
10722 V 30000
10806 V 30000


All Manual/Network as Blind Scan brings in 5W of course.
 
No chance down here for Amos 3 at least with a 1.5 Dish. Amos 2 no problem.
 
Yep finally got a Lock when i got back today never tried this morning but now is AOK but after fine tuning these i find that i start to lose 10722 H 27500 the Spacecom Mux, I cant find a happy in between medium for the 2

I have had the same with two different beams in the past digi, a few clicks one way locks one beam and vice versa.
