Any lnb test reviews lately?

MEGASAT Twin LNB Diavolo just arrived, quick test reveal good results.

8.0ºw test.
At present 1.2m Offset + Stab HH120 + Technomate Quad LNB TM-4:-

a) Running a Uclan-Ustym-4k-pro-twin-s2x and tuner 'B' the Diavolo appeared to show a gain on the dB value of 12622 V 256 1/2 (manual input).

b) The Diavolo also managed to Blindscan in 12620 V 890 1/2.

c) The seemingly extra long pulldown cover adds coax connections protection.

d) €14,90 inc. delivery DE to ES

Reading previous posts will also cover the 'red' cap with self-amalgamating tape :-clap...............whatever, it seems a good buy. :Y

I have just had a Megasat Multiswitch to replace my Technisat one that got zapped by a nearby lightening strike, very impressed, just as good, half the price too..
 
I am glad that you are satisfied with the Diavla Lnb. I did not recommend this Lnb to you for no reason. I have personally tested a huge number of Lnbs on a motorized system - and simply when you draw a line of results on the entire Klark, this Lnb is, on average, a step ahead of the rest of the competition. Especially on 19e, 13e, 0.8w and 28.e.
 
I apologize, I forgot to add it - I personally also use a scalar ring in combination with a Diavlo lnb, with which I get an additional plus signal on some frequencies that are important to me on the clark.

I haven't try with the Diavolo for the moment, but with other lnbs it's give some % more with a dish bigger than 120cm. This make difference on Es'hail 2 25.8e for example, I can lock some frequencies only with scalar!

This is impressive, If you have some little time to spare, i would urge you to perform another rest on a horizontal transponder as well.
 
I can confirm the astonishing results its the best lnb (diavolo) i have never tested. I have received today and even very cloudy i have better results than inverto and golden. Very good picture quality also im waiting clear sky because has to be even better.

Thanks a lot for advice this lnb to the users that perfom the test.

I decided to try this LNB and made an order. After he arrives, I will do a test and share my impressions.
 
I have caused these lnb to be ordered in my name and that person has received them.But they may take sometime to get to me. I am thinking the contest will mainly be between the diavolo and the x2 hd. Reviews on the x2 is amazing and in a forum test it beat the black ultra by significant margins.

I didn't have the x2 lnb in my hands, but I don't think it will be better than the devil. I will definitely order the x2 and about 6 other types of lnbs for further testing. Well, guys, when the weather is nice, someone should take the time and test it. even Clark's path and compares the Diablo with the rest of the competition. I think he will get the same conclusion that he currently has no competition in the high and low BAND over the entire range. returned to the devil. Just to say that I am not promoting anyone, these are simply my findings - but now it is up to you to come to further conclusions from the tests. Best regards.

If someone know a better Lnb than Megasat Diavolo, I will test it too

@AtOM13, you may like to pit the x2 against the diavolo. I will do it too, but it will take a while for me to receive those lnb i bought recently. One good thing is that the diavolo is not too expensive.
 
@ymttt I always hope to find better lnb, better than the best lnb :D
For many years I always use Black ultra, which many french vendors claims as THE best lnb, but for me definitely not.
I'm waiting your feedback on X2 vs Megasat Diavolo, and also looking for a Fracarro LNB to test later.
For the moment I'm busy with my dish relocation o_O
 
Hello All,

This weekend I set up a fixed dish dedicated to test LNBs.
It is a 1.1m dish pointed at Eutelsat 9B @ 9E. Why this satellite?
Well because:
1) I'm in the fringe area of the Italy beam - just barely can I receive it, normally it is needed over 1.5m at my location.
2) It has these 16APSK modulated signals. If we want an LNB that performs well, it has to manage this higher modulation order well ->> Means Low Phase Noise.

Tests on tranponders 12466 V and 12111V. Receiver is Edision Mio 4k, tuner1.
Need SNR to be close or above 9dB to avoid pixelation on those transponders.

Results:
1. Invacom single, Smart titatium Twin, MTI Twin all did manage to get the 16APSK transponders but always with some degree of pixelation even after tweaking.
2. Inverto Black Ultra Twin (old IDLB - the only LNB with wich I could get the 2 tranponders without pixelation (just barely).
3. Inverto Premium Twin (IDLP-TWL410) - No signal (once in a while it showed something)

The SNR differences are very marginal in the 3 cases. But the end results are words apart.
I will not recommend the Premium when you need to lock to 16APSK signals. And I supect that for weak 8PSK signals it will also underperform when compared to the old model.

So, I am in the market for better LNB, but not from Inverto. I did not test yet the new Ultra, but my confidence in Inverto is a little shaken.
 
The new IBU has slightly worse results on the whole clark than the old IBU model. Read this topic in a little more detail, maybe you will come to some conclusions.
 
So, summarising much of the thread, I would say that the single lnb that would seem to perform best at the moment (apart from the old IDLPs of the inverts) would be the Megasat Devil. Correct?
