Any lnb test reviews lately?

Posters in this thread have reported V3 to not be as good as V1 and 2.
That depends on many factors, dish focal length etc...

If I change my V2 to a V3 and I get worse reception I should blame the dish?
Maybe the feedhorn design is somewhat different in V3, than V1,V2. I've known the same LNB perform differently on the same size dish from different manufacturers. Swings and roundabouts. All a I'm saying it's one factor to consider.

From time to time I check on this thread. Currently I'm using invacoms on my prime focus dishes and a mix bunch on my offset dishes, with the black ultra as the best performer. What are my best choices for replacement presently?

It looks OK and very cheap. Buy it and try. You have nothing to lose.

Fracarro, very good.

Ignore the usual noisy/squeaky wheels.

Hi,

I tested AB-COM LNBs Red Edition, single and twin:

Very good and incredibly cheap.
Tested on a small dish, 65cm, and I had better SNR than with the current Inverto black Premium.

Strangely, the twin seemed a little better than the single, but the txps sample was relatively small.

Similar result with the Fracarro, the twins perform better.

I recall a thread a few years ago wrt switching inside the LNB body, (quads better than others)

It may be the components used for direct switching are less efficient at 2GHz passthrough than a dedicated matrix.

Power supply filtering was also a thing in the early days of the Universal LNB, a couple of companies capitalised on reworking existing products.

Can any of our friends share their experiences with inverto black ultra single and inverto twin? Is there a big difference between them in signal?

2. 10730H - INVERTO ULTRA BLACK 16-16.5 DB
3. 10730H - CHINESE LNB 16.5 DB (IN FREQUENCIES ABOVE 12... THE LNB DID NOT PENFORMED WELL LOW SIGNAL)

I am doing currenlty tests with some lnbs for feeds in Eutelsat 16A ...
Satellite dish is parabolic 2.40 and only the inverto ultra black lnb brings some feeds until now.
Because the dish is located at 7e position which lnb would you think would work good?
I am thinking to buy inverto ultra black pro flange ... any suggestions for something else?

Anyone tested any SatCR/dCSS LNBs and found any as sensitive as normal LNBs?
