Any one running dump 1090 willing to try an experiment?

hi all, i see that some of you have really good coverages.

i feed data to flightaware, fr24, planefinder and adsbexchange . My max range is 235 NM and i would like to extend it..
My setup: Pro Stick Plus on a Raspberry PI 3B+ (with dump1090-fa) and Coaxial collinear antenna (16 elements).

Have you guys ever tried coaxial collinear antenna? if yes, how many elements is the best and giving the best coverage?Screen Shot 2020-05-25 at 17.42.45.jpg

I built a 12 element co-co originally. I think I shortened it to 8 elements after it got damaged in a storm a while back. I get well over 200 miles in my most favourable direction (outer ring is 200 miles - hills block south round to south east here.)

Now that updates for Windows 7 Have ceased I have re imaged my ZBox to Windows 10.For the last few weeks I have been using a raspberry pi 3 + for VRS.Hopefully you all are getting my datea alright.Not many aircraft Can you confirm that I am in a connected state on your systems.The reason that I ask is that on June 2. I loose my DDNS redirection.I do not want to be trying to sort two problems at the same time.
 
Yes still seeing your data - currently tracking 3 aircraft :)

Thank goodness for that.I was dreading a problem with the pi.It took me a couple of months to get it working properly.
Then a month to work out how I did it.I have a image on three sd cards as backup.:)
 
Fine here ponti. Grand total of four in the merged feed ATM :D
 
The new router has finally arrrived so once the missus has finished her vc meeting I shall be swapping it over
 
If Ive got the port forwarding set up correctly you should be able to see my data again now

You're dead to me Ross. Are you still using the same dns address?
 
Still on the same no-ip dns @Llew If pontiend can see me then then Id guess things are still ok

Oh sorry - my misunderstanding. Ok will have a look at the port forward setup

Ok Ive found the problem (I think!)

Now Ivwe got to figure out how to fix it!
