If so, please post what you are using. Lots of gizmos on fleabay, I want one that that barks instructions at me. I know someone had a Sony street mate a few years back, think they have discontinued now.

Thanks.

I have Navigator on my laptop, works very well, although I haven't used it for a while. I had to put headphones on it though.

Poor thing couldn't hack the noise eh! you must be one of these road ragers who constantly shouts and swears at the other drivers.

LOL, very good Topper. :)

This was in the days of the old noisy van, the earphones were for me. ;)

I might give it a try. What can I add to my laptop to give it bluetooth (to connect to my bluetooth gps unit)? A dongle?

Might be a bit tricky using the mouse in the car ;)

Found these as being suitable for a laptop:

1 Info Map Navigator
2 Mapsonic
3 Microsoft Autoroute
4 Copilot

Hi Mates,

I have Tungsten T with SD card slot in it.

Is it possible to use it as Navigator? Please let me know.

Thanks!

I use a USB GPS unit, although I'm sure you could get it to work with a bluetooth dongle.

Have a look on the Palm site, there should be some information as to which packages it will work with. :)
