Dreambox 7020 250g& Triax 90cm ,Technomate 8000 HD , Echostar AD-3000, Superjack VBOX2 Triax 1.1m LNB Lemon mono block

Just purchased a Axas clone MM. I have a Echostar ad3000i.
The supplier stated that its pot luck if it works in Echostar. On instaling the cam the CI initializing message comes up and keeps comming back.
The cam had Penta 1.09 and worked o.k. on a Technomatic
receiver . I have returned the CAM and had a refund.
Will I have problems with an original MM in Echostar.
 
You will have no problems with a genuine MM v.1.01 or v1.02, I know this from my own experience. I have no knowledge about compatibility of v.1.03 or v.1.04.

Clearly there are differences in AD3000 hardware and software, etc and also an element of luck ;).

MM 1.04 there are some strange occurances with an Echostar 3000 , generally it works well but occasionally you will see the initalising issues, and then you have to turn off the reciever and restart the beta software is generally less stable than the normal 0900 software etc.

Many thanks for the replies. Nice link site Nickolai. Old Satellite do you mean the upgrad to 0901 BETA. I have just upgraded from the Echostar site so will be taking the reciever along to the dealer who will have a genuin m.m. It does seem a hit or miss with the version of Echostar 3000 you have. Is it dependent on the revision of mother board or the m.m. clone versions?
 
The problem is not with your receiver M8 it is the MM it needs to be modified with a new chip and then all will work , all that's left!!!!! PM me for a contact.
