Do you use these parameters DVB-S2 8PSK, SR 30000 and FEC 3/4?

Badr 8 at 26.0°E - LyngSat

Maybe they are still recovering from the heavy rain?
Or needing the sat money to repair roads,airports?

both 27500 & 30000 give nothing.
Maybe they need new batteries?

You are a lot further south than Gladstones - we need bigger dishes to get many of the interesting transmissions!

Hmm ... Your dish size maybe an issue with that transponder ...

Bearing in mind that the weather is poor here today ..... i "can" lock 12130 V 30000 with a 1.2 cm dish but with only a small margin of 0.5 - 1.00 db ... ..... in fact i,m getting break up "now" that the rain is a bit heavier

And my location is somewhat further south than you - which probably amounts to quite an advantage for this satellite - ( i,m about 25 miles below the bottom of the Lake District)

Will report back with my findings when the skies clear

Almost certainly not big enough for Badr8 on a dvb-s2 8psk & fec 3/4 signal especially as nelson_b who is well south of you is stuggling with a 1.2m dish.

I used to get this tp 52 to 58% but from last good few months it disappeared.
Use to be SR 27500 but now it’s 30000 & 8PSK
Never mind I just give up

This shows the required power to be received for various satellite tv transmission states An increase of 3db is equivalent to doubling the required signal.
