There is one plastic dish for sale not far from me :-doh seller says it is 2 meter, but I suspect it is 1,8m. Can that be Channel Master? From picture I can not recognize it. Looks like dish has 4 holes for screws. He is asking 220, perhaps too much. Of course, would be interesting to see whether he also has PM in the set. If it is CM180, I would probably go (last time, I promise  ) up to 150 EUR.
It may be a really bad camera/phone used to shoot the pics.
Or the seller has for some reason decided to employ a bit of photo-shopping.
But in reality, I'm having a hard time seeing a CM180 in those pics.

Firstly, I can't see the normally very obvious bolt-holes for mounting the dish. (there are some shadows in the top region of the dish, but I can find nothing in the bottom half.)

Secondly, if a CM, then the dish ought to tbe gray, not beige.
The prodelins are beige. The CMs are really gray.

Strangest of all, the seller has listed the item as "New", and writes "Never used" in the item description. In that case, the state of the dish is a bit of a strangeness, as it looks definitely used.

So, either the sheller has a really sh*tt* camera, or it's a clone of a real CM or Prodelin.

Or what? Very intriguing - maybe you should go have a look. (or at least request more pics of the back - the ribbing strucure will reveal all).
(mind you, the CM180 Polar Mounts are really rare - don't expect one).

Already done that immediately after my initial post.

That can be really s**ty camera, but I can see some signs of holes (circled them red) 235132021_2-sateliteschotel.webp or something nearby those red areas. If seller answers, will try to get more details and maybe even arrange meeting o_O

Looked more carefully.... holes could be where are green circles. 235132021_2-sateliteschotel.webp
TBH, it more and more looks like NSC 18-1 antenna I already have in the garage  O, no! IMG_20141206_094508 (Large).webp

If they are bolt holes its not a CM
Then what do you call the four "conduits" that pass through from front to rear, making it possible to use bolts to attach the dish to the actual metal mount that is meant to be affixed to the back of the dish?

Ah, just read your post again. I gather that you mean "if thoses four holes are the ones where bolts pass through, it's not a CM", rather than what I read first "there are no bolts going through a CM..." 8-)

I agree with Martin, that whether the red or the green circles represent holes, it's neither a CM nor a Northern Satellite.
Check you own photo, the mounting holes are almost symmetrically placed (insofar we accept the dish can be viewed as almost symmetric), AND they are very very clear to the eye (large black splotches).

Yes, it is definitely not CM than holes should be much closer to center. ScreenHunter_289 Apr. 26 23.03.webp
I doubt it is Prodelin, Prodelin has 8 holes in the surface. P1280347 (Large).webp
NSC is only one left as possible. Than it also can have polar-mount!

Still no answer from seller. I did some proportion comparison.
Measured that dish (222 x 199, but those are not mm of the dish). I also know main measurements of Prodelin 1,8m, NSC 1,8m and Channel Master 1,8m. Put data in the spreadsheet and divided vertical size by horizontal size. As you can see from the table, this dish has exactly the same proportion (1,12) as NSC dish. Therefore, I suspect, this is "NSC 18-1"

Hey, folks! I have strange feeling..... perhaps there is something wrong with CM1,2m dishes as everybody is trying to get rid of them. This time seller asks for 50 EUR (PM and actuator inclusive) . Are those dishes really so bad? :D

Yes, you should stop buying them. The G spot is all wrong and they are always dirty.

Did I say I am going to buy it?! No way- I have promised to stop doing so to many people, including wife. And I will keep my promise (at least try  )

Worse than that ... they infiltrate your shed, storage space, anything, and potentially causes marital crises, empty-wallet-syndrome, and all sorts of other illnesses.
Avoid like the plague.

Is there a doctor in the room ?
