Not a lot more to see Rima.

The actuator was not large enough for spanning more of the arc - SMW quickly brought out a modification for the polar mount to take a larger actuator. My supplier took in the original one and gave me a good discount on a 24" Arktivator with the necessary PM mods.

"fortunately" my trailer about 2000km away. I contacted 1.4m antenna seller, I go to look at antenna Saturday. Somebody already offered 40 eur for that dish. I do not think I would be ready to take it for more than 50-70eur. Of course, it much depending on the condition of the product. Let's see

Brought family Saturday's shopping,and, "accidentally" shop we went was very close to place where chap was selling SMW OA-1400. So, I've found there some kind of Klondike of equipment IMG_20150328_132047 (Large).webp including Bang&Olufsen antenna. After "shopping" borrowed bigger car and went back to take some of the antennas (will not say how much did I pay to not let you be jalousies or think I am stupid or lucky :-rofl2 or whatever, I simply have them now) . I've got 2 x SMW OA-1400 , 2 x SMW OA-1600 IMG_20150328_171821 (Large).webp and also tiny 1m Echostar IMG_20150328_183212 (Large).webp without any feedarms and mount. Man gave me another polar-mount IMG_20150328_181405 (Large).webp which can be adjusted to Echostar. Seems that Echostar was newer used, at least I did not find any signs of it being installed. Broght all dishes to my friend's house IMG_20150328_172328 (Large).webp , removed all metal parts IMG_20150328_174801 (Large).webp and stored in his garage. Of course, those mirrors are old, some metal is rusted or missed. What can I say..... i think they are still beautiful. Problem is that wive got suspicious as she spotted van full of antennas inside, but I made some sweet lies saying that antennas belonging to friend of mine and I am just helping him out :rolleyes: I do not think she believed o_O
 
There is one nice toroidal dish for sale, at least 4 times less money than the new one. Unfortunately location is over the pond.

As I am looking for more info about SMW OA 1600, found this one somebody is selling in Sweden. Current price is little more than 30 EUR, but still5 days to go.

Well, Sweden is a fairly big place. This dish is in Nyköping, which is 6,5 hours drive from me (and I can almost see Sweden from the top of my roof).
Maybe someone in Stockholm?
 
Don't think anyone in the Midlands likes satellite, bargain dishes never seem to be located here :oops:
