Schedule can be found here: http://www.en.beinsports.net/schedule but its not very good. Why is the Es'hail Satellite frequencies being shown in the TV promo's and not Nilesat, does this mean they will ditch or have less channels on Nilesat in the future?

The FTA beIN channels from 7W are coming in at 59% SNR here on my 1M Gibi. I agree about the superior HD, though I've noticed it with quite a few of the new HD channels on Nilesat, e.g. Qatar, Rudaw, Dubai and Oman

The picture quality on bein sports 10HD looks far much better than any HD ive seen strange ?
Not surprising really. Bitrate is just a fraction under 9Mbs when the picture is static, that double BBC1 HD current rate.

BTW, by comparison Sky Sports 1 HD peaks around 18Mbs.

Would it be possible for someone else in the UK to try to receive this bird and post their findings please

Extremely unlikely you will get anything off 25.5E without a MUCH bigger dish - the MENA beam is firing into the Mediterranean area.

However oddities of reception do happen so the only way to find out if its possible is to try it.

Eute 7WA does do better into the UK than expected, but again I would very much doubt you will get any worthwhile reception on a 1.2m dish. Try it and see.

I wish you luck but to be honest I doubt you will be successful on a 1.2m dish in Sweden. Try it and see if it works! And please let us know either way what happens.

Strongest frequency varies from location to location, dish to dish, receiver to receiver. Any strong signal on location 1 can only be used as a mere guide in location 2

However if you look at post #110 here

http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/threads/strongest-reference-transponders.15129/page-6

forum member william-1 suggests 11430V 27500 5/6 is a decent signal in his location. (Essex)

^^Even if you get that one most of the Bein HD TV frequencies are DVB-S2 so you are probably going to have to go up a couple of dish sizes to have decent signals on them.

ISTR you will also need a BEIN tv receiver as the cards are now paired.
