Hi,

I am selling my well-used but perfectly functional Biostar H55 HD motherboard, an Intel i5-760 CPU and an MSI NX8600GT (nVidia GeForce 8600 GT clone) graphics card.

I have been using this bundle for just over 4 years and it has served me well without any issues whatsoever. To start with, it was using with Windows 7 but I then installed Mac OS X (Hackintosh) 10.9 and used it with that.

The CPU has never been over-clocked and has only generally seen light "email and web browsing" use.

The motherboard does not come with any memory but will take any standard DDR3 sticks.

The graphics card has two DVI outputs - I used both.

Genuine question - is it better than one of these ? (putting one together out of bits and pieces for a 'friend')

The Dell server there is architecturally a couple of "generations" behind this bundle. It's using Pentium D, which was before the days of Core2Duo/Solo, which was incidentally a precursor to the first generation of "i" processors. It's also using a slower memory type - DDR2 vs DDR3.
