I may have found a second hand channel master 120, to dismantle and pickup myself.

Is that something that one man alone can do; is it not too heavy?
Lift off the dish from the mast, lay it on the roof of a shed, and then let it down with a rope or so?

Please advise.

One man only, even on a ladder, as long as you don't reach to far out from the pivot point.

A polarmount and motor adds around 3kgs and can get unwieldy if you don't know the centre of gravity before lifting off the mount.

Manageable alone. The plastic mirror weights ~10kilos. Az/El, or PM adds some 5kg. Congratulations, good antenna!

Ah thanks, good to know I can probably do it by myself!

It has a Az/El mount, and I probably want to make a multifeed setup at it.

CMs were always for single feed and (later) motorising, technology on the reflector stopped in the last century as it was - almost - perfect for the type approval certifications at the time.

Is the refector a good idea to be added on?

Do you mean the Sub-reflector? No, it is not a good idea; it is a great idea :):Y ! Firstly, it is fun, but secondly, it can improve the performance of the system.

and how could I find,or make,such a sub-reflector?
I often have a "just under" reception on Astra 28E. So an additional whiff would be great help.

Forget about make... Take the SUB, the feedhorn and the feedarm from FIBO antenna (find it on the second-hand market, very cheap, if you are lucky). On the picture is CM180, but same will be also on CM120. IMG_20210811_122054.webp

I have 3 channel master/ Andrews 120.cm 6022..2xpolarmount and one az/el or an HH motor 36V suitable..new

It has a Az/El mount,

I must correct myself.
It has a polar mount, but that is made fixed with a metal plate. I saw that just while unloading, yesterday evening, as before I was mainly focused on the dismantling and loading into my trailer.

The bad news is: the dish has a bit of damage near the fixing point of one of the side rods. I'll maybe post some pictures later.
And I haven´t checked the rods' fixing points at the LNB holder for defects, yet.

But then, I got it for free (for an apple pie).
