Cheap Supplier of viasat. Anyone know one?

My Satellite Setup
english sky, spiderbox 7000, 1.1m triax dish with tm2600 motor, Acer Aspire 5542
My Location
Blackpool, Lancashire, North West England
only found around the 1200 mark but the full subscriptions only around 459 a year. Is anwhere round the £1000 mark
 
Theres no such thing as a cheap supplier when theres a UK middleman involved. If you want a sub anywhere near 459 you are going to have to find someone in Scandinavia to set it up for you.
 
My brother got his from a local dealer for £800 but when I went to buy one for myself he had lost his supplier in Sweden due to them cracking down on the exporting of cards, so they're pretty hard to get hold of by all accounts.

I'm going to persevere with my Tring card and try again at the start of next season.
 
im looking for a viasat sweden card for next season now that wolves are safe for another year!

i know its gone to be £1k plus for a year but i wouldnt mind some recommendations as to who to buy from for after sales support, any thoughts?
 
One of the forum sponsors probably do it - at a price, and maybe to special order. Probably worth emailing one or two of them.

Can you please update your system information, as you will not get all EPL games on a Sky system, even if paying an extra subscription:)

And of course absolute cobblers for pubs until a definitive legal judgement is handed down..... :D

Even then this particular sub wont be legal for pubs as its not a commercial sub.
 
Not eBay. getting direct from source. And as far as I read the law. What is sure is that EPL have no authority to prosecute as the agreement they have with distributors violates EU laws of trade. So very much doubt that they are going to re-write EU law to suit the EPL.
 
Well we don't want to get too far off topic right here, as there is an entire section devoted to Football and the Law - but suffice it to say that every action, every interim Court decision, every interpretation only muddies the waters further. It's a massively complex area whereby anyone with an interest happily (and rightly) seizes upon any apparent glimmer of good news and ignores all else!

It will never be fully, satisfactorily and clearly resolved until and unless we have

a. A genuine free market

b. Public Performance licensing and Copyright issues become less convoluted

Neither of those objectives will ever be met, IMHO!
