Hi am in Kenya and would like to acquire the Digitruk card with 6 months full package.
Is the card available in Dubai?
 
Considering Eutelsat 7C is just 3.5 years old and has its European footprints strongly focused over Turkey (presumably to have accommodate Digiturk's services), I can only assume that finances at Digiturk must not be in great health for them to pull their platform off 7E at relatively short notice and concentrate at 42E only?

High inflation but especially lira's fall in value is the main reason. Ive even heard that telecom operators are taking some drastic measures and are shutting down some of their base stations in order to save money on the electric bill. During my summer stay in izmir and in Bodrum this year, reception was worse compared to previous years.
 
More space for feeds maybe?

Nah - there was already plenty of transponder space free at 7E.

I wouldnt be surprised if one of the birds isnt moved elsewhere now to make better use of the capacity
 
Feeds appeared in 10810 - 10850 vertical range. If you can't see them then it's just my card..

But it is more appropriate to write about it in the thread 7E feeds
as in the thread about DT
PS: maybe time for change name thead from 7E to 42E

Are you really surprised? - The target audience is just that. Anyone outside that target is completely irrelevant - the adverts arent targetted at them so they arent bringing any revenue in. Just wait till most things are IP delivery only. Its a few years away yet but its coming.

Its a historical accident that there was so much out of area spillover in the past - technology moves on, satellite transmission beam shaping has improved immensely. Satellite design has improved immensely too. Such is life.
 
What a shame,I made use of my old zone 1 minidish specifically for 7e,when one of the forum members,stated the Digiturk package boomed in,(no rain margin though!)
Just rescanned,all I am left with,is a total of four channels!,woohoo!,with one showing no signal atm

Any suggestions for the minidish,most welcome guys!
 
try 9 east, just 2° from the 7
still a good array of African French speaking channels,as exotic & easier to understand than Turkey
And also,Hungary ,a few French itv-type channels...and some Kurds
