My Satellite Setup
DishNetwork Echostar DP301
Hi,

Im new here and new to the satellite world :D

We bought 2 Dish Network satellites and the Dish Network Echostar DP301 box. We get 110 West and 65.1(or somethin) channels.

I want to reprogram the card so I can get channels that are blocked to work again. How would I go about doing this??

I know that I would need a card reader, software and the files. Can anyone please help out?

If you need more information on my setup, please ask I will do my best to provide you with the information you need.

Well the Dish TV channels on 110W appear to be moving over to the secure Nagravision 2 as they are simulcrypting in Nagra 1 & Nagra 2. If this is the case you cant so anything about it.

Has your dealer advised you on getting channels outside the usual ?
 
err are u saying that even if I was to reset this card, I wont get the 110W and 65.1(or w/e) channels anymore!?!?

65.1 which is like middle east kinda thing is already down, im guessing their already at Nagra2...so if this does too, would it mean there is nothin I can do until it is hacked?

The majority of the Asian channels are Nagra 2 only, so this is obviously the way DISH are going. For the ime being, Nagra 2 is secure, so if / when they switch off Nagra 1 the screens will go blank for anyone watching on a hooky card..

Depends what part of Europe, the further West the better, otherwise it's over the horizon.

No. The satellites are either below the horizon, or just about on it. Those birds above the horizon are transmitting on CONUS beams (continental USA) so arent firing anywhere near Europe.

You want it = you move 3000 miles westwards :D
 
acidic d dishnet is going to be down in a few what u are watching if u have a blue card is nagra1 dishent is moving all the chs to nagra2 and there is no fix for it yet
and if u want the nagra2 u have to wait for a few
 
Hi all, please advice me I am in UK ,I using 1.2m + Humax 5400 can get Galaxy 3C at 95.0°W ?if not how big dish I need+LNB? many thanks.

You need a miracle!


Its below our western horizon. The ONLY way to get it is to either drill a ruddy great hole through the Earth, or to move 2500 miles westwards into Yankeeland.

I do not think you understand itouch if you want it you will have to move to the USA unless you are planning on breaking the laws of physics:-DOH!
 
Well a 1.2m dish will probably work, but the 3000 miles of cable needed to join it to your satellite receiver might cause a few traffic problems.
 
Hi,what is that mean breaking the laws of physics? my family living USA I get new Receiver + $40 a months ppv ,now I need how can I pick up please I living in UK but my H....in USA. hope you all understand.

We DO understand.

YOU dont.

Due to the curvature of the earth, you physically cannot receive the signals you want in the UK - the satellite at 95W is below our western horizon. If you want to watch channels off it you move back stateside. End of story.

Now - no more questions about how to get the channels. You cant.

point a dish500 at 110 and 119


you will get ALL PPV channels still. Scattered HBO's, Showtimes, Encore etc.....Out of 6 HBO's, youll get 3. All international and xxx are gone. YOu still get loads of channels. I was told the end will be december.


Grab an iso programer, rest your cards ATR and get the REV.....Then determine if its locked, can you unlock it etc...You can also buy an atmega and a JTAG


If you need more info, reply to this. Ill post back. I dont want to waist my time. I registered here just to answer this post and try to help anyone with dishnet
