Sheffield??

Lovely patina on this one, spotted in Trapani, Sicily. There are a lot of analogue antennae on the roofs here. IMG_20230920_101524.jpg

Nice selection opposite our 7th floor Air B&b in Istanbul. Not sure about 'health and safety' for the installers... 20231011_094612.jpg20231011_094612.jpg

I'm not sure where the feeds from the dishes went, as the building opposite was pretty well derelict. The larger dish on the right was a feed for a 5* hotel.

Etisalat Jebel Ali ES the other day... it's hard to get a clear view of the facility nowadays, construction & buildings all around... it used to be nothing but a desert in the old dayz.

I went there in 1992, it had became a major transfer port a few years earlier. I saw many warehouses converted from manual labour to mechanised.

Fitted many dishes there and nearby, many friends I made in the process. Another 15 years to go before the contract is up for tax free status.

the "analogue" antennas work fine on "digital" terrestrial.
Here i still have 1 "H" shaped for 819 lines black & white, along with a "2è chaine" yagi...which gives me the DTT bouquet (la TNT)
Never had to change it...Only the 819 signal has gone....
btw same for the dish... and lnb also "did" analogue when it was there.

The other day in Norway...
