A few dishes in Israel, unfortunately I missed the 3.5mtr dishes again in Haifa, the husband of my sister in law was not sparing the horses. Note the often common way in the ME of mounting offset dishes upside down

Most interesting, thankyou: Remind me of the advantages of mounting downside up? Is it easier for low latitudes, what with the significant Elevation required in most cases?

Here's a photo from last August of a dish in Pyhä, bolted to the side of the main hotel in a ski resort in Lapland, northern Finland.

Sonera provide mobile phone, landlines, internet and cable TV to various parts of Finland but I'm not sure what this dish was doing.

Got chatting to the guy operating the sat in pic 4. He was linking to 45E but would not give me scrambling info!

But most interestingly apart from a spirit level had no other equipment to help him set up - his philosophy was that compasses break, sat trackers break too and so he does everything manually.
