dm 8000 clone images

Hi guys has anyone used a dm 8000 clone are they stable and are there images available for them, cant really see much info on it so a bit of advice from a user might be helpful.
 
over a 1,000 views and no replies, lol, thought about buying a clone myself, was told they are of decent quality.
 
I have one. It started off ok, but slowly got flakier and flakier to the point where it just refuses to boot now. I suspect it's a psu problem. It won't drive my disecq motor (but I'm not sure if that is faulty after 3 years in storage). Maybe it's because the psu's are weak (known problem) and the HDD I've fitted just maxes out the psu.
But when it did work, it was fantastic. I just have the urge to fill those two empty slots with two more tuners hahahaha!!
 
I had to repair an older 7020 psu earlier. One of the 47uf capacitors was almost open circuit in the primary side. By the sounds of it on yours, it's probably the smoothing caps in the secondary side. Big give away is when they bulge on the top but isn't always visible. It's normally a straight forward job for a tv repair shop to fix.
 
Thanks mate. I'll see if a repair report comes back with it. My IR eye seem's to have failed on my original 7020si, do you know if you can get replacement boards?
