Dreambox 500 - JTAG Information

Dont be so impatient. Not all our members log in every day - some of them only visit once a week, and some will no doubt still be on their summer holidays. This time of year you need to give it a month minimum before you start getting jumpy about a reply.
 
I used dm500aio jtag it said 100% complete but when i connect serial cable and use dreamup to load image it does not respond at all .any tips?

100K are a must!
 
Have the same problem like zemogric and after flash with JTAG the green light is ON but the serial port is not accessible. I have already replaced the MAX 3243 with a new one but the same ;(. What else i can do to restore it ? Is there any way to flash the whole image with JTAG ?
 
The 100 Ohm resistors are soldered on the parallel socket, 3,4,5,6,and 11 then you connect your wires to these. Don't forget the insulation. If you use a shop brought Parallel Socket it will already have 18-25 shunted.
 
hi mate.which cam should i use to get premium contect.at the minute iam using astra 28degrees but i cant get the picture at all but i can get program info.please help
 
Do you have a subscription card? If so the cccam or oscam cams will read it.
 
hello all,i try jtag my dm500s with 3 times successfully.after dm500s gemini image upgrade .but no it still no red or green led light ,and it can't response to dreamup?

any body post the DM500S WINDOW BASE J-TAG SOFTWAE I was unable to download any j-tag files from this site.

You can get a DM500s for as little as £30 these days. It really isn't worth the hassle these days trying to repair such an outdated box.

You would be better off just throwing it away and buying a new one, or getting something better.
 
I appricate if you can help me for that little window base software, because I spend so many days on this box, I did soldering pins lot of mesh up in this box there after j-tag connection ok I got, so I want to see it come back to life again,

I tried with DOS, that is stuck in the middle saying "FLASH ERASE" then percentage shows 0%..., there after no progress , because INTEL unknown shows with alps tuner.

hi guys, I tried with this name "DreamFlash for Windows v0.1" in google search from last so many days, there are so many sites comes up but no where that file I found.

still I am looking for this file "DreamFlash for Windows v0.1"
