Emitor Satlook Micro+G2 NIT - Demo

Wow! BIG money, eh?
If I went back into installing as a business, I don't know what meter I would get, but an H45 would cost more than all the rest of my kit put together, including the van!

Firmware smG2HD-125-EU loaded, nothing obvious.

Satlook Micro G2 and HD firmware smG2HD-128-EU + transponder editor

From support / downloads www.emitor.se/support.htm

Anything new to make it worth updating? I never bothered with 125

Spectrum sweep but hoping the new FW will solve an occasional lock up problem I have.

Mine seems (happily) to be faultless, so I'll leave well alone.

Wise.
The lockup is with the control knob having no effect in spec mode. Resetting sometimes cures the issue. Shall see if all is ok.

Hello . I have a SATLOOK MICRO+ with a custom firmvare ( ? ) and is activated into G2+ I mean it has both Spectrum and EasyFind ... I wonder if I put the last firmware ( smG2HD-130-EU.hex ) will my satfinder remain activated or I have to buy another UPGRADE KIT ??? Thanks so much .

Standard on the Micro HD and available on the current firmware update for the G2 is the X-Polarity measurement.

In addition to using the spectrum screen, this measurement can provide a quick visual reference of the signal level of vertical and horizontal polarisations at a given frequency. This can be used to adjust the LNb skew for maximum cross polar isolation.

On the X-Pol selection, are you looking at highest H signal and lowest V when on 18V setting and vice verse when 13V for X-Pol isolation?

That is correct. It serves to adjust the tilt of the LNB to match the H/V orientation of the satellite.

If you have this misaligned, the V signal will interfere with the H signale (and vice versa), as the LNB is capturing i.e. 70% H and 30% V. Ideally you should be receiving 100% H and 0% V (and the other way around of course).

This X-Pol function only measures the dB difference on the selected frequency between H/V polarity - you could do that manually. It will zoom in the SPAN, also.

Vitor

132. But i tried 128 as well. I cant find any satelite Via easyfind.

Your profile mentions the satellite received only, what system do you have ?

vaš profil prikazuje samo satelit Astra 23 (E), nihče na forumu ne ve, iz katerega satelitskega sistema poskušate zbirati kanale, niti zakaj vam analizator Emitor povzroča težave
