Eute 10B has electric thruster not chemical ones - the power they produce is much less than chemical thrusters so the time to kill the orbital velocities to circularise the orbit & get it geostationary is longer - months instead of weeks. It may seem a backwards step but the ion thrusters are more efficient so in the long term it will stay in service longer.It's crazy that it takes 8-9 months from launch to broadcast now. In 1989 it took 6 weeks. This advance in technology and efficiency is really remarkable.
