Not neccessarily - when the last lot of Hotbird satellites launched the footprints were released very late.

And a lot of Gigabit broadband to fill the gap. Nobody appears to want large dishes stuck to their buildings anymore.

They used super beam word to describe that coverage would be improved and for all horbirds the beam is same for Europe and middle with more powerful signals and that's why they mentioned super beam means signals with more power

Its worth remembering Hotbirds 2-5 all had "super beams" and they were higher power European beams, so its not a new designation.
 
Super beam means dedicated coverage ..

You may lose some services but seeing "Middle East" is listed on the official Hotbird 13F specs there will still be at least some frequencies covering the Middle East.

(How interesting the channels on them are is of course open to question) :-rofl2
 
Electric drive satellites take longer to reach their orbit position for example Eutelsat 7C an Electric drive satellite launched 20th June 2019 eventually reached geostationary orbit by September 2019.

Hot Bird 13F going to 13°E will launch 14th October 2022
Estimated to reach geostationary orbit by January 2023
 
Eutelsat 10B will replace 10A @ 10°E estimated launch 11th November 2022 is also an electric drive satellite.
 
for now 13f will be much large transponder 80 it can be replace satelllite or 13b and same 13e
2-the secend idia if it transponder can be switch from wide to super beam or on 13f ?
 
Let it go all seper beam, we don't require it anymore...we got Eutelsat 16e, Astar 19e and hellasat 39e more than enough..let it go to hell

Becareful what you wish for. We already know spot beams are coming to Astra 19E in the next generation of satellites.
