Big thanks 'CH'..............not used as my main receiver but at its level, unbeatable for installation on fringe sat reception....very fast response reading to dish/LNBF alignment. :-clap

Having a moment can't remember how you use it for realignment, RAMF say 0.8w to check strength /quality. It will only move to the sat if I do a scan . Is that right ?
 
The receiver needs the dish in the correct position to start any scan, if you have DiSEqC 1.2 enabled then the positions are manual, if USALS then it should move when you target the satellite.
 
The receiver will only move the dish to the selected sat eg 0.8w if I select an actual channel scan on the RAMF app via channel search ( see pic) . I don't actually want to perform a scan just check signal quality. I'm using usals . The dish is positioned in 0.8w as you can see from the signal check menu but if I then want to check signal on say 4.8e I have to select channel search from the app menu and click actual scan for the dish to move to 4.8, am sure when I first got this I could press signal check and the receiver would move to the sat.

On my e2 boxes you can goto sat positioner and select the required sat it moves the motor , you then get a output of signal strength,/quality without having to scan the sat.

nyone got the manual I can read again .

They put a lot of effort into the analysis tool by pointing your browser at it's IP address. Over my head tho. Too techy . Real time stats tho

this improvements/updates done by SKY-DOO
Note: this APP does not overwrite original one, so you can still able to use old one as well (v1.17.15 or 1.17.14.1)
