Some of you followed out FM mattsnapper's World Cup blog over the summer. Matt is a photographer by trade and whilst the UK is shivering in temperatures well below zero the lucky sod is wandering around Abu Dhabi in a tshirt taking photos of the FIFA youth world cup. :D

A long time ago but Ive just found out that Matt died of brain cancer last year (Friday 25th jan 2025 aged 54)

RIP bud - I enjoyed your blogs from the various football tournaments

Its weird - the missus only asked me a couple of weeks ago if Matt was covering the World Cup this year :(
