Firmware for satlink ws-6979

I bought SATLINK WS-6979 satellite meter and I am looking for the latest firmware. It does not detect the satellite signal. Thank you.

If you bought it direct from satlink then complain, assuming of course you have set it up correctly in the first place. there are firmware updates available but I believe you have to pay for them, but the latest appears to be 2017 if you click here

If your in the UK you can contact Satlink-UK LTD I just bought a SATLinK WS-7009SE which I understand is the same as your SATLINK WS-6979 mine is working but I find that you cannot save settings . So if you set it up on a satellite and then turn it off to save batterys if you turn back on again all your settings are lost . Regarding your problems if not working return to who you bought it from other wises best return to satLink in the Uk I understand there in Essex .support email: Satlink-uk@hotmail.com , info@satlink-uk.com , Down loads from New software update available .
