I like the Satlook NIT for motorised, but the Rover ST4 does things which the NIT doesn't and gives a much better range of measurements, but it is more than three times the price. Haven't used the Trimax, but it looks like a neat little meter.
Sorry if you felt i was been aggressive in my post.
with all the other posts about freesat, and thanks to inaccurate posts on other websites, i have has a number of calls from people saying that freesat and bbc and itv will be available on a small dish in spain. the amount of times i have had to tell them that with freesat nothing is changing in their reception in spain (except the possibility that c4 may soon be only available on big dish also). it had been discussed may times before.
any by the way, i have may 1.2m dishes around southern valencia area that can get bbc1 until approx 4pm in the afternoon....weirdly it is those closer to the coast.....
Hoppo.
Apologies for the tone. Since the announcement of Freesat I have had a number of calls saysing that you'll be able to get BBC and ITV on a small dish here in Spain, and could have phrased my repsonse better - my morning coffee had not taken effect at the time i wrote it.
On a side note, i have a fair few installations in southern valencia using a 1.2 and they get BBC/ITV until approx from 2am to 6pm in the afternoon. Weirdly this seem to be only on installations close to the coast and not inland.
Hi Analoguesat, sorry to butt in, coming back to what you said earlier "premier going secure". I have heard this rumoured but with no definate info. any idea when this will happen, have you got any more info. Thanks, Chuck
