FTA Gems

Sorry CH, my mistake they have been unscrambled by my "patch" and I never realished it. :-DOH!
 
I am currently receiving VH1 FTA (Free to air) on my Lidl Silvercrest/Comag Sl 65 Receiver on an 80cms Dish (also Lidl) here in south west Ireland.

Details:

Satellite: Hispasat 1D at 30.0°W; European Beam

  • Channel Name: VH1
  • Freq: 11577
  • Symbol Rate: 27492
  • Polarity: V
  • Video PID: 4704
  • Audio PID: 4705
  • PCR: 4704
  • Text: 8191
  • Sub: 8191
  • Version: 1084h - C65GB

It is part of the TV Cabo bouquet but is showing Clear FTA.

It is a different VH1 from that which shown on the Sky Digital platform as 28° East. However it seems to be all English with less adverts!
 
Sci Fi and Sci Fi +1 are FTA on 28.2E, also Hallmark +1 is also FTA on the same place. I don't know how long it is going to last.

The station name in list is 5110 and some other number. Check lyngsat for tps info.
 
Does anyone know what FTA its possible to see from Nilesat, Hotbird and Hispasat when located in Oman?
 
Yes, there will be a multitude of channels, just check on Lyngsat.

On Nilesat for example, there are the MBC channels on 11938V, Dubai One on 11785V, and City 7 TV on 11862V.
Plus loads channels with Arabic language.
 
Sci Fi and Sci Fi+1 have gone encrypted. :(
 
bloody heck why is there so many rubbish channels couldnt they get rid of those and bring in some decent channels like five or such!

I cant check it right now, but I think it might be Canis Fish TV,

Now you know whether or not you want a fish tank in your living room.
 
had a scan there an the logo is for" Main Concept". Seems to be for interactive tv advertising

noted as showing English language movies with Arabic subtitles around 2200 uk time, and currently has a concert of some sort on.

Yes its an unusual satellite to be looking at but its an easy catch here in the uk with a decent sized dish

Not sure if it's to do with the Dutch coronation tomorrow but there's over twenty channels gone FTA (about a dozen in HD) on 23.5°E......
