My Satellite Setup
Elite 2.2 PF with Multi lnb changer - CM1.2 - Gibertini 1.25.
Ku - Ka - Ext Ku - C & Ext C. X.
PC cards 6983,6903, main receiver GTX Combo. Ericsson RX8200.
Promax HDRanger+ & HDRanger2 Analysers.
My Location
North Nottinghamshire. UK.
Wanted - If anybody has bought a Ka band Gilat 8004 Broadband ODU recently and has found no use for it then i could possibly take it off your hands.
 
John I do have a spare one , separated with my lathe .
But .... I only want to trade it for the lnb part of a 8002

No worries Wim, my main Gilat 8004 board has developed a fault and i'm running on a spare 8004 at the moment but would like to get another replacement. Many thanks for the offer though :Y

No it's not that one, it's the main Rx board as shown in my pic attached Wim that i need.

.. Keep an eye on it - it probably won't sell at that price and you might be able to barter later on. Myself and others have been lucky enough to pick up some bargains at a fraction of the cost of that one advertised.
 
Apologies for the confusion, I'm not looking for an AN8004, I came across one on eBay and remembered someone was looking for one :)

Regarding the Tooway Viasat ODUs in the links, is it possible to use them for our purposes?

Not a lot. They are interesting in that they have solenoid operated polarisation change but I've not worked out how to control them. The spec I have is 19.70 - 20.20 RX 29.50 - 30.00 TX but I'm not sure of the IF frequencies. They weigh a lot>2kg.

If anyone wants one or 2, I have one TX only and one TX/RX, free if collected or shipping arranged by recipient.
