No can do at the moment. I’m away on vacation. Maybe moonbase could do it though. Do you own a V8. What are you trying to establish.

A video of the aforementioned Android box in action showing some meaty 4:2:2 feeds would be nice. Make sure the camera is recording at the same frame rate as the decoded video (live on-board screen capture may affect the performance of the video decoding). HDMI capture could also work but some of those devices don't operate nicely at 50hz.

Some of the Irish sport feeds mentioned by a fellow countryman of yours would be a good start

A video showing the benefits of installing GT Share on the Combo itself would have been appreciated too. No one else appears to have tried it... oh well.

I am not sure if the GTShare app on a mobile device has a recording option, I cant find one?
Once the GTShare app is running it seems to prevent access to other aspects of device functionality or I would have tried a screen recording if I could get to that option?

It really is only a viewing app on a mobile device so I doubt it. It could be done on an Android box. Pity your Combo is hosed.

To be honest you’d need to see the output up close yourself to judge the output. Creating a playlist to USB and watching the output in real time on any platform of your choice is a better option. Just to be clear, you are not recording to USB you are watching in real time via the playlist.

1. what is the highest and lowest symbol rate can v8 UHD support ?
2. is the tuner sensitive like GT media GT combo ?

1. I have not checked the lowest/highest SR that can be locked with the v8 UHD. If you check back through v8 UHD pictures that I have uploaded to the forum it might give you some numbers?
2. The v8 UHD has a good sensitive tuner but I have not compared it to the GT Combo.

Possibly not but the majority of feeds of any great interest are found on 10 E and are in HD or greater resolution. What player on the Combo are you using to view 4.2.2 feeds.
