This procedure works only with gemini image.
Is there a procedure who works with nabilosat image ?
 
doesnt work for me either.. can figure out whats wrong.. no FW enabled on pc etc..
 
Hi Guys, I tried this and it works. Only thing which is wrong in the tutorial is that the VLC shortcut should be exactly as follows (including the "):

"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --intf wxwin --extraintf=http

Rather than rely on a command that could change from system to system, you could just start VLC normally and go to 'View -> Add Interface -> Web Interface". This does exactly the same thing. You only need the command line if you want to auto start VLC with the web interface enabled.
 
nabilo dosenot have vlcf plugin and it has in my dm800 green botton vlc server to be edited by hand and has webinterface conf too.
and how to command to vlc and where to change the ip
 
I have a dm 600 and I have downloaded vlc and works fine but I want to steam from pc to dm and I have seen the instructions, but you did not make it clear how to install step by step vlcf in dreambox
 
AVI files play fine directly on DM8000 and DM500HD, without extra software or streaming... best boxes as this is a good improvement compared with the older DM800.

DM500HD, DM8000 and DM800 will play AVI, MKV, m2ts, VOBś and more.

I'm using OpenPLI-2.0 image, with his downloadserver verry good!!
