I don't know about any of the other guys but I think the best thing to happen on Ice Road Truckers this series is Lisa: Gutsy, Gorgeous and what a driver!!!!

She's brilliant, definitely a fan favourite!

As you may or may not know, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the British Army’s arrival in Northern Ireland. In remembrance History is broadcasting a special documentary: Soldiers' Stories. Several British soldiers recount their stories of working within Northern Ireland during the troubles. It is important and compelling programming.

It transmits on Monday 26th October at 9pm.

Hey guys,

For those into modern history, there's an excellent special on the Berlin Wall coming up next week, named The Rise And Fall Of The Berlin Wall.

It's an excellent programme and a real reminder of how far Germany has come in the last 20 years.

Has anyone here visited the wall?
 
Nope, haven't visited, but remember watching the wall coming down on TV. will Sky+ it, looking forward to seeing it again.:)
 
I was living in Germany when it came down, though I was a bit too young to remember it.

There's some really insightful interviews included, especially with people who escaped through to the other side.

I know not everyone is a fan, but Ax Men is on tomorrow night, and it is an excellent episode, with a focus on the helicopter loggers, very exciting!

As a matter of interest, Darwin lodged above what is now Boots the Chemist here in Cambridge when studying here. There's a plaque above the shop.

There will be a variety of programmes tackling the apocalyptic predictions of seers and prophets such as Nostradamus.

The first big programme is The 7 Signs of The Apocalypse, where experts examine the biblical prophecies and question whether any of the disasters described in Revelations could actually happen.

I remember when History first launched in the UK. The channel was only on for 3 hours a day, 4 to 7pm and the first programme was about the Titanic with David McCallum of Sapphire and Steel and NCIS.

Off topic: I don't think experts with great respect know what they are talking about regarding Revelation.
