Horizon HDSM USB - Latest Firmware and software

Any chance u can upload these please m8
I would be grateful for the updated list. Is it an exe file? I have the latest plus firmware "HDSMPlus_G_10Ba-0045", I just require the latest UK update list. The list I have is dated 2018. Also, is the HDSM V3 USB Plus meter obsolete now? If so, what do you recommend as a good replacement that would have the same features and spectrum analyser.

Kind regards

Yes Horizon left the sat business years ago. I used to own one and replaced it with a Alpsat 6 combo.
I have several "prosumer" analysers but if I go on the roof, the Alpsat outperforms all the others.
It is handheld and very fast in reading level and quality.
If you are only interested in satellite the Alpsat 5 is the right choice.

It is Turkish made, so finding a dealer in Ireland can be difficult.
Alpsat shows Hamburg as their "overseas" dealer, but I can buy it here in Holland.

Hello , Will the software change anything? Current software , HDSM USB PLUS 1.0Ba-0036 , Thanks

Horizon have closed and stopped all support for their sat meters

Does anyone have a copy of the latest firmware, satellite lists and the software to install onto my Horizon HDSM v3 USB

Thanks

Craig
The member 'peyu75' on here had some role in creating the original satellite lists, and has been incredibly helpful to me in the past, creating satellite lists for me of the satellites of my choosing. He can also send you the 'satedit' program you need to install them. However, all except the Horizon model HD-S2 only support SD transponders (not HD) and those are going off-air now at a steady rate.

Thanks to peyu75 for sending me the upto date channel list for my Horizon HD S2 .The only thing when i try to install the sat sdit program so as to install the update i get a error on Win 10 as in picture attached.Any info greatly appricated.Peyu75 said someone might know a sollution. Thanks

Update, Got the HD-S2 working thanks to Peyu75.A true gentleman! Went out of his way to help me.

Hi guys, I’m looking for an update for horizon hdsm usb. Astra 28.
I’ve just swapped LNB over and can’t get a signal on my meter.
Can anyone help, please?

Regarding the lists for the USB model, the answers above include a program with instructions on how to create and upload the list. I stopped making lists for the USB model because it takes a lot of time, and some people who received them from me didn't even bother to thank me or provide feedback on whether the list was properly created. That's why I focused on lists for the S2. I make them whenever someone asks.

Colleagues, the program for making and uploading lists to the S2 model has never been made publicly available by the company. It cannot be found online. I have it because I made letters for horizon. When working with it, be careful not to damage the meter's software. That's why I connect to everyone I help with this program via watsapp and explain what needs to be done. Regarding the USB model, I also have the same program for it as above, colleagues attached in the posts. I do not write letters to him because it is very time consuming. Regards.
Hi Peyu75, I would love to receive your help in updating my HD-S2, and I will be very sure to provide excellent feedback. I realise that there will be a strict procedure to follow and that it is at my own risk. Please PM me to get the ball rolling? Many thanks

A very big heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Polish member Peyu75. It pains me to learn that there are people on here who have just used him for his efforts without so much as thanking him- makes me angry just thinking about it... :-(
Peyu75 worked tirelessly last night for me like a faithful companion, doing everything humanly possible to convey what needed to be done (despite the language barrier) to get the program to transfer his updated work into my Horizon HD-S2 old faithful meter. Even at the expense of going to bed late when he had work commitments the next morning. I cannot sing his praises enough!! As it turns out the transfer wasn't possible last night because of the inadequate refurbished Tower PC I bought from eB@y... So please be mindful of the cheap components you are getting when you buy cheap stuff from there! As soon as I applied what I learned from him through my Lenovo Thinkpad, it was instant success! I feel very blessed that this great forum has some great people on it, and none more so than Peyu75!!

Hello,Thank you so much for the kind words, my friend. It means a lot to me. Especially since you know how much work it takes to create a list. It's very sad when I don't get any responses from the people I've helped, but after uploading a new list, they can still earn money because the meter is active again. It takes up a lot of my personal time. First, I have to write the list, then I have to check it on each added satellite. There's also the problem of the program because it requires installing files to run, and not everyone can do it right away. I send videos showing how to do it, and once it's done, I help with the upload.
