how to lock channels on tm600?

Hi ,I am having trouble with few channel as we are on the festive time of the year ...kids are very clever with the tv remote ,it is difficult for me to lock the adults channel..particularly...is there any way to help :-thumbup.thanks
 
have the pin changed by sky.
usually they use the last 4 of the old card.
if the kids know the pin its no secret anymore.
since there are 4 digits from 0 to 9 thats 4 to the 9th power.
or 4 with 9 zeros after it.
make sure its a number you can remember.
the only problem is when then try and the box goes into time out for 30 min.

ps this will work only on sky boxes.
 
ralph, TM600 is not a Sky Box. It's a Technomate Linux box.
 
Hi there !! I'am still looking for the way to use the parental control on my TM600 ,I think that is a very important aspect of topic that we have to be sure they are working well as we will not be happy to let our under 18 view some very XXX channels. Please if anybody know how to lock the menu or channel I deeply need help ..thanks regards to DIGITUDE
 
everyone is trying to lock the box
and i am trying to unlock the sky box.
the perental thing shy has is totaly useless.
i have tryed locking unlocking only 18 movies after 8 pm there is nothing there that works and nothing that follows a patern.
nothing on the internet as well.
cannot defeet the pin eather.

what a waist.

kribien open the channel list you are using with a channel editor "DBedit etc.." then set the "parental" or similar tag on the channels you want to block, then send list back to box and check u've got parental lock set in settings.
