I have lost my Cam menu in my TD??

If I go to "menu then 5" I should see a cam menu but it's not there
someone said to empty the var and do a software update so my 1st question is:

1. How do I clear the var?

if I try a software update 1st using yellow ok red I get

"The selected update file is too large for the installed flash memory. Programming aborted" hence my 2nd question

2. If I can clear the var will I be able to update my software then?

any ideas guys?

Do a manual software update by flashing the latest hisat image. Before 'upgrade software' in the LCD screen, do an 'erase init var/part'. This should free up var.

In Extras, Cam menu should be option 3 on the second page.

Better still, use a USB stick to hold plugins to leave var free for better housekeeping.
