Industrial / non landscape pics

I like the spirals on this one. Its a disused wireless tower next to an Icelandic lighthouse. Its one of two on the site which obviously used to carry a dipole antenna strung between them

Sorry it's not quite industrial

The antenna mast in post 20 makes mine look sick !!!

Doublet for 80m to 10m held up at a great height of 7 mtrs by a fishing pole, -- by the way it does work.

I was having my hot beef & onion sandwich outside Tunstills bakery and pies shop in Darwen today and noticed the terraced housing across the road looked different to any other, it took a while to work out what it was but the guttering and support was very ornate indeed. I cannot recall in all honesty having noticed before and I must have driven past there thousands of times before

This sad sight is on the South Tynedale railway at Alston in the wonderfully remote Northern Pennines. Nature reclaiming the engine....

Carol (swmbo) wont let me take it home :( :-Nooo :-rofl2

Im pleased to report this sad little engine has now been cosmetically restored and is now on display just outside the main station building at Alston :)
