From October 2024, households with an SD-only satellite set-top box will need to upgrade to a High Definition (HD) satellite receiver to continue to watch ITV1. ITV1 and ITV2 nationally will no longer be available in SD on satellite.

With all Sky customers being moved to HD boxes, this potentially affects a very small number of people - non-Sky customers with older SD-only set-top boxes (at most c1% of all satellite homes). ITV’s closure of SD services on satellite follows the BBC's closure of all satellite SD services earlier this year.

There are no changes on Freeview and Virgin Media and satellite viewers with HD boxes are unaffected.

...no mention of the +1 channels yet, though ITVs recent transponder changes may suggest that they'll be accommodated on the new DVB-S2 transponders they've recently switched on?
 
TBF, all SD channels should be either shut down or converted to HD. SD has no place in this day and age. Quality over quantity and all that.

I have no signal on itv hd channels since September 30th I think. SD and SD plus one channels seems ok. Is anyone else seeing this?

If you're in Maesteg, South Wales (as in your profile) you should have no problem with the HD channels. How old is your installation? Has anything changed, such as overhanging shrubbery, heavy rains, etc?

There is no issue with the signal strengths thereore its a problem at your end. Common problems in no particular order include

Misaligned dish
Degradation to the lnb cover so the horn is full of water
Damage to the cable from the dish to the receiver probably leading to rainwater ingress. (Split cable / outer sheath damage from strimming, hedge cutting etc)
Overhanging foliage drooping into the line of sight of the dish
Electronics failure of the lnb or receiver
Loose or corroded f-connections, possibly leading to water ingress into the cable

The type of receiver may have something to do with it.

Signal strength here, on the fringe, varies for no apparent reason from hour to hour. Clear sky or cloudy, no correlation.

Ionospheric and stratospheric conditions along with the continuous small movements in position and attitude of the satellites themselves will all influence propagation.
 
And now ITV SD and ITV2 SD have left 10891 H. The "+1 versions" are still on though.
