I consider Miller's 1968 production of 'Oh, Whistle And I'll Come To You My Lad" one of the most chilling of M R James's ghost stories.
Best watched on Christmas Eve by a roaring fire. Michael Hordern excels.

Let's not forget his BBC production of Alice in Wonderland where he stripped the characters of their animal skins. A really unsettling interpretation well worth watching.
