Hi Guys

Finally bought myself my first C band lnb (see link for pic) Primesat PR300C Combined C-Band and Universal Ku-Band LNBF
but need help connecting it to my offset 1.8 Channel Master dish.
from what I can tell it looks like I need a collar of around 65mm in order for it to be held in the correct position.
The currant lnb holder is the companies own made version (the now closed Satellite Super store) of the CM one and it designed for a 40 mm collar.
Is there some way that I could buy make a collar that would fit the type of LNB/dish?

Thank in advance guys

Mark

In addition to the new mount, a new Conical Scalar Rings for the offset dish would also be suitable (the figure shows an Flat Scalar Rings for a prime-focus dish)

Thanks for the reply.
can order a new scalar ring (will the currant one be useless altogether?) but this still leaves the problem connecting it to my dish.
Cheers

Can a scalar ring improve Ku Band reception?

I found the picture of your antenna you posted some time ago. As I see you already have new feedarms and universal (C/Ku) LNB holder. You might just lacking the clamp for C-band LNB. Look for one which is INOX 63.5mm, and it will fit perfectly on the LNB-holder you have. 63.5mm clamps usually come with M8 nuts and bolts , so you will just need to change them to M6 ones. Even though you did not like the fact that LNB-holder has too many parts, they all there for a reason. With M8 threaded vertical stick you can adjust the position of the feed vertically. The feedarms also have possibility to be adjusted by the length. And that is all to be able properly place the feed. For your antenna there are 2 very important dimensions 1830mm from very top of the antenna to the Focal point and 1080mm from the very bottom of the dish to the same Focal point. The Phase center of the feed (LNB) must be co-located with antenna's Focal point and feed must be pointed little bit lower then the center of the dish. Adjustment of the feed must be done before you start to tune antenna to the arc.
If you can not find 63.5mm clamp locally, I can buy and send you one . I think it was ~ 8 EUR plus shipping. MarkCM.webp
