Indeed it's a useful resource..
If we all stick to the same reference transponders that is ..

Currently Im adjusting the Gbox positions ..having moved the ku off centre now to accommodate the Ka lnb at focus..
So far I'm noticing a roughly 0.2db drop in signal levels as a result.

As to my setup ..having moved the ku lnb slightly off centre I lost Grozny 53E
This I believe is tied to the 'peeping over the wall' effect..lol
I will try this again with the Ku off centre to the other side of the Ka ...as this _may_ just bring it back.

VS..not sure it will be helpful but on the Gibi 1M (focused on 7W) I get nothing from 10778H (the K1 beam is difficult for me here). 11523V on 45E is 47% SNR (centre focus on an old 80cm dish) and 11044V on 53E is 71% SNR (same dish but off set)...readings taken in heavy rain....

So ..I'm now at the point where I want to re-fit the ka SL3 and the Ka hi band lnb ..
Nothing found on the SL3
Llew ...can I assume Ocko etc were broadcast from Astra 1N ..which I believe is on the move ? ...thus this is why the SL3 no longer gets a signal..
Or did these signals originate from 1K..?
This being the case ..Houston we have a problem.

Ocko not coming in here, too low a signal for me - S/N about 3dB. No problem with the Teleppica feed.

AFAIK it's still on Astra 1L. 1N has only just moved to 19E, maybe they've changed Ocko to another of the satellite's footprints?

Can't do much on the Forum at present, brother died and I'm dashing around arranging funeral etc.

Thanks. As his long-term carer, leaves a Peter-sized hole in my life now.

However, I get Ocko now, only 5.2dB though. Think it was much higher before.

Found the problem ..
The SL3 is faulty ..probably repairable ..but I'll probably swap out its innards ..as I have a reserve.
Water somehow made its way inside and there is some corrosion..
This time I'll make it even more watertight and if I can find some ..include a small pouch of dessicant crystals ..
We aren't talking a lot of water ...possibly just condensation internally.

..Took me 3 hours to replace the SL3 innards ..and waterproof it..
Hopefully will last longer this time..assuming we dont get the torrents of rain we've had lately..

Good to hear you've sorted your SL3.
Yes, that's about the same dB level I get, using the Triax TD88. As you've said before VS, it confirms the drop-off of the footprint towards you.
