Whilst my trusty first generation Humax PVR is still going strong, I'm sorely tempted to be an early adopter of the Manhattan if I xan rustle up 220 sovs.

Might sell the Humax on as I know lots of people have nostalgia for them

Has anyone bought this box? I'm looking to get it to mainly record and skip ads on the commercial channels (vs ad plagued streaming) and would like to know if it works well for this. thanks

Yes, up to 64x (I think - will check tomorrow)

And you can set the Jump at various levels up to 2 mins.

I have the 500GB Version and I believe it has an SSD.

If that makes a noise, we're in trouble!

lol, well i've read that it both is and isn't an ssd. so who knows
 
I just got the 2TB model from Amazon, despite Manhattan saying it hasn't been released yet. Impressed so far
 
Yes, it's a more than worthy replacement for the esteemed Humax PVRs (but least said about Arris, the better!)

yep, so much better. was worried that the Arris would be the last box Freesat ever released
