Just Sharing This More asian channels to close.

Prime TV from Pakistan has vanished for some time already..
Has it gone or just changed its frequency on Astra 2?
Strange thing is,their website wouldn t say anything
 
11553H 22000 is indeed the frequency supplied by Kingof sat,
which has worked until nov 5th more or less,and has been silent ever since.
It carries the EPG name"this is Prime tv"
But...no signal and a test tone
Thank you anyway,let's wait and see
 
Ah the marker is still there but its closed in the UK due to poor ratings:

Recently, ZEE Network UK has closed down Zing, &TV, Living Foodz and HD variations, while B4U Plus, MTV Beats, Prime TV and NDTV India (on Virgin Media) also exited the UK market.

UK TV Reach: Sony TV ends 2019 on top in weekly data

Sony Entertainment Television ended 2019 at No.1 in weekly reach data for period ending Sunday 29th December 2019.

Thank you,this explains it... what I enjoyed on PTV is vintage music from Pakistan
rarely heard on other channels...then,it s on youtube of course
and the old tv series from the Quetta studios as well!
 
Prime Tv has closed down,a couple of times before,and it may well return again
A fresh line up of programmes is required if it wants to retain its viewers
 
UK44 & A1TV have ceased operation in the last week. Neither were barb reporting which shows how low their viewing figures were!

Not surprised about A1TV,always suffered from channel identity,would switch constantly from religious content to non-religious content.
Though news channels are going to have lower figures than any general entertainmen,surprised about C44 disappearing.
Anecdotally,it was popular,but there’s an over saturation of Pakistani news channels,which makes for even lower viewing figures
