The FTA Multi-Streams on 5 west & 12.5 west are of better quality with the SX-88.

Theres a good amount of english content on both too (multistream only).

1 west & 5 west do not have much to offer FTA these days,
:(
You have just about completed the arc just a few left to add 36 east has 20 TV on 36B with a 88cm dish here,
12.5 west has some crap Italian TV & some good FTA sports feeds Football today & Golf tournaments starting most Thursdays 88cm dish,
15 west Has News feeds with European & USA Sports.

Unfortunately Ive just about run out of ports on my 16 way multiswitch! 3 of them dont seem to be working at all. Ive had to reuse the 30W port this afternoon - that dish moved in one of the gales so I took it down for safe storage & the weather the last few weeks has been too bad to do anything about it.. I wasnt very impressed with 30W anyway - 6 fta channels is barely worth bothering with. :D

Ive got a harebrained scheme to put an A/B switch in the garage so I can rig up more lnb's for the less important satellites on a seperate disecq switch and just switch over when I want to have a look :D

23.5E finally added back in - yet another offset lnb on the 1m dish aimed at 13E :D

Ive also got round the lack of ports on the 16 way switch - Ive added another switch for the west birds & the main feed to the receiver has an a/b manual switch on it in the garage :D Now I can knock another post in & get 22W & maybe 30W back. Must have a look to see if I can see Algeriasat too.

Once the new-fangled elastic-trickery arrives up there, you could simplify things dramatically with a motor ...... :D

Not much on AlcomSat 1 @ 24.8° West just one transponder received here now 12240 H 30000 with a 100cm dish duplicate of 22 west that is much stronger.

Galaxy 11 at 44.9E added in as well with Retorno on 11748V 2308 2/3 DVB-S2 QPSK

On a boiling hot afternoon Ive lashed up a Workmate workstand, a scaffolding pole I pulled out of a skip long ago, an old DVB only rx, and a second hand 60cm dish and Ive been searching westwards.

The 60cm is probably a bit small but Ive logged 12.5W with 2 channels (RIT & KTO) so far Its been a very long time since Ive had a chance to look at 12.5W :)

12.5 west 11450 to 11550 H Golf feeds starts every Thursday French Open today Irish Open starts next Thursday.

Golf Feeds

Unfortunately the new dish site is going to have to be temporarily dismantled in the next few weeks!.

The estate needs to do some drainage work is required and of course my dishes are placed exactly where the bloody drain is going!

Soooo I will take the opportunity to carefully label everything - and redo it all from scratch once the drain is finished..........

Sympathy - just had to dismantle most the dishes here because of the nearby "bed in a shed" issues that I reported to the council a week ago, and can't reinstall them until the likely resultant "furore" has clearly subsided.

For the mk 2 install here I shall get some longer fenceposts and knock them in further - the current set up barely survived last winters gales!

The dishes need to come down next weekend - the drainage work is due to start next Monday......

The builder has obligingly found a couple of old scaffold poles and has knocked them into the trench for me. Once they have a few tons of gravel round them they arent going anywhere :)

Far too stormy to even thing about re rigging dishes at the moment though - I did enough damage at the weekend when I crushed my thumb when a dish slipped in the wind. Im not wanting a rerun of that!
