My dishes collection

This topic is about AtOM13's dishes. As your issue appears to be different to those in this thread (e.g. different type of dish) it would be more appropriate to start your own thread rather than continue in this one.
Thanks for couching this in a decorous manner.

@ymttt Personally, this doesn't trouble me much, if I can help you it's a pleasure, but don't hesitate to create your post, I'm sure others members (more experimented than me) will help you too :)

Pole advice needed please :confused
I found a 3" aluminium pipe (3 mm thick ) just for testing... at the moment.
Do you think this pipe will be enough solid for a rooftop mount ?

If you're planning on using that ground stand, as in the picture then no! The sheer weight of the dish and wind loading, alone would destroy it.

Hello everyone. A few of my antennas now and what was before. And 2 photos in a city apartment. Today is my birthday and the birthday of my friend on several satellite sites. RimantSS is 59 years old, and I am 70 years old. How quickly time flies. Happy birthday Rimant.
Привет Римант,с Днём рождения тебя и себя заодно поздравляю.Крепкого здоровья и успехов во всех твоих делах.

This antenna at 30w - /Kharkov plant-1.2m/ was on my =motor= to check satellites. To reduce its weight, I had to cut such holes. This antenna 1.2m works great.
And a photo of my multifeeds with a 1.2m antenna
It works well in the C range too. You just need to remove the damn thing and insert a homemade irradiator.
If anyone is interested in this irradiator, tell me the topic and I will post the drawings and how to make it. And this was invented earlier by specialist Vitalik-19 from the Khmelnitsky region - Ukraine. And this design works much better than the standard LNB C range.

Nice! That's quite a meccano set (конструктор - для тех кто помнит) on those dishes. Innovation is the catalyst of this hobby.

Be patient Captain :p pictures coming soon ...

Here is the 5m dish ... at 5m from the floor
This setup gave me some work to fix it properly, and place it into his "nest". All is ok from 34.5w to 53e ( except Es'hail 2 and some 8w frequencies <_<)

From west limit (45 w approximately) ...

1000034847.jpg

... to 53e (possibly catch 62e )

Hard to lock sat over 34.5w and 53e , not enough ku band transponders, or just over beam reception <_<

I have installed the actuator in a 2.40 satellite dish but i have not put the positioner to work yet!
This procedure how much time needs? And a logical price to pay the staff who knows to do it how much costs?
For example 100 euro or less? Thanks in advance. I am thniking to have it from 30 west - 52 east i am south east of Greece.

Are the cables connected? Does the dish move?

No i just replaced the old actuator with a new one. Dish is not connected to move currently is stable at 7 east.
I have it there for the feeds in strong frequencies i have 17.9db-18.1db for exampla 11.387h. I am thinking to
do it with positioner or not i am afraid of losing this good signal at 7 east but on the other hand with 2.40 it will
be interesting for receiving more channels from other satellites too. Lnb is ultra black flange latest. Is the procedure
too tricky needs long and expensive? I am not a technician.

Getting the actuator working, with correct wiring and setting the limits, does need some technical knowledge. After that connecting to positioner is easier, but things can go wrong. Programming the positions is the easiest.
