My dishes collection

Nice ! Will the tree swaying in the wind effect the dish ?

For the moment, very minor fluctuation during wind period. The pole is fixed with several 14 mm threaded rod and stay cable ("hauban" in French)

Is the procedure
too tricky needs long and expensive? I am not a technician.
Is not difficult, but it's take some times to set all satellites in your vbox

Just found east limit : Intelsat 17 @ 66e, locked with 2.5 db !

I didn't know that it was possible, the dish is very inclined and the actuator is in east limit "000" !

@AtOM13 i just received as well my edision os mini. Did you notice a strange tik tik ... sound issue on channels?
Do you have an idea what is the reason. I did not notice any like this sound problem in the rest of my equipment
receivers.

@hatters1976 no I haven't heard any abnormal sound but to be honest I haven't watch a Tv channel for a long time with it !
But I noticed some issues :

- impossible to set at 2160 resolution with my TCL TV , only 1080

- transponders with a low SNR aren't viewable while searching ( not a beep )

- can't scan T2-MI mux on 4.8e

Yesterday I started to install it and it take some hours to find a solution to scan low frequencies :-doh
But compared to my old Vu+ Duo it's so faaaaaaaassstttttter !!!
5w goldstream is ok and blindscan is very useful to found satellites without channels like 37.5w Euro beam.

I'll created a thread especially for the OS mini 4K

Here i can confirm with LG tv 2160 is ok accepted.

We've got one of our 9.3m Ku-Band antennas pointed at IS-17. Elevation is 5.9 degrees and to reach that we had to take the elevation jack cover off and move the stop nut down as it was far too high up the thread!

Hello everybody and happy new year !!!
New year, new project :
Change my ”nested” Channel Master 1.2m by Laminas AS - 1500, and keep CM motorized mount… if possible!
Laminas 150 reflector seems to be lighter than Cm 1.2m ( 13 kg 151x161cm vs 15.2 kg 122x132 according pdf brochures )
So I have to find a way to adapt Cm polar mount on laminas, if you have some ideas …

adapt Cm polar mount on laminas
Can you post a picture of Laminas 150 taken from the back? Measure the distance between 4 mounting holes in mm. Channel Master has 178mm between the holes.

Hi Rimants !
I've taken some photos few weeks ago :

I did not see them, sorry. So, the distance between centers of the holes is 250x300mm!
And is it a flat surface those 4 holes are on?

Are those 4 bolts for Laminas M10?
So, one of the ways is to get 270x320mm 3-4mm thick metal plate (INOX for example :) ) and drill 8 holes in it. To have enough space between the plate and CM polar-mount for M8 bolt heads, you will need 4 thick spacers to use between the plate and Laminas antenna. Plate like this PlateLaminas.jpg

Normal, I didn't post photos til today :p
But I just take some new photos, and yes it's 250 mm horizontal and 300mm vertical between holes you can also see the surface under :

Great idea ! I thought by adding two vertical spacers/plates but one plate will be more solid . Laminas bolts are M10 yes

bolts are M10 yes
Then make holes in the plate at least 11mm, 12mm is even better. And 4 holes for CM polar-mount bolts 10mm for M8 bolts. Seems that you have good plan. :)

By the way, Lnb holder is 115cm from the dish when measuring lower arm, if I decided to "Rimantized" the Laminas, do you think that 10-12mm tubes for side-feedarms will be sufficient ?
