Hi everyone,
My installation slowly evolved this winter. I found too many offers for cheap HDMI modulators not to go further...
The goal at the beginning was to broadcast on all my TV Superyacht TV and Channel 4 with the normal terrestrial channels.
I added 3 more satellite channels and I'm going to add 2 more this summer.
For Channel 4 I use an old EDISION demodulator.
For Superyacht TV broadcast only in streaming on the internet I found a very simple and inexpensive solution.
I use a Raspberry Pi 3B+ with a special OS to transform it into an M3U8 to HDMI stream decoder.
Once the OS is installed, the decoder can be configured via a web page depending on the type of video stream.
For broadcasting I use HDMI to COFDM modulators. 2 EDISION and 3 CAHORS.
I just found a 2 HDMI CAHORS modulator for the future.
I also found a 2 analog input modulator to COFDM IKUSI for I don't know what yet.
I'm in the process of rearranging my wall to make room and make it clean but at the moment it looks like this.
