Been doing the next phase of a massive simplification of my various Satellite systems and today's involved shifting a multistream receiver, doing a lot of recabling, and replacing an old twin output LNB with a previously unused single.
Having got soaking wet and a little frustrated, I finally thought I'd got everything sorted - but found to my surprise that various Satellites (but by no means all) appeared to have no signal and not one of my stored multistream Channels worked.
An hour or so of headscratching (I hadn't changed any receiver settings) finally led me to work out that it wasn't actually Satellites that were missing but any and all high band Channels.
Bunged the old LNB on and all was well.
Clearly, the Golden Interstar Universal (yes, I had checked) that had been languishing in my spares drawer was not seeing 22kHz - must have been faulty when I bought it.
