hmm ur 006 is working ok for you as i found it to be rubbish and went to ur 008 beta 3
 
The cheapness is also my concern Rolf, but if you are buying one and a few others here have one, then I'm almost decided to get one too. I read that the chasing playback doesn't work yet too. But this is apparently software issues. Nice to see a section here on it.
 
I've been getting along with my Technomate 1500 just fine but what would the Technomate 9100 give me that the TM1500 can't.
Either on main forum or PM.

erm i would like to know as i have a tm1500ci which was fine for me but i couldn't help myself and bought a tm9100
 
I am trying to upload cam3881 onto my 9100 but getting this message "install failed. Please check available space". How do I make space?

I'll certainly be keeping hold of my DM7000 until a twin tuner High Definition receiver appears. :)

You say you bought it off wizard?? do you have an url or exact usename so i can contact.

Trouble is i only have limited time to order it as i work on a rollin rota.. if i can contact asap hopefully it will get to me on tuesday/wednesday.

i have both dreambox 500s and TM9100.

the tuner is defenitaly better on the 9100
 
Just got mine this afternoon, have been booting and rebooting to try and get the USALS to work without it locking up. It acually worked first time using the image it came with, but after all the faffing around you need to do to load one of the non-standard images, I've now got a piece of junk. :-lmao

Probably overpriced at £109. ;)

PS. I deliberately didn't put the link to wizard, as they don't support this site and there is no such thing as a free lunch.
 
Have just unplugged it and reconnected the DM7000, can't see the Technomate being reconnected other than to re-install the old image (if I can) and put it on Ebay.
 
well mines working fine rolfw, got juliet 006 running with evocamd 2.14, gbox and sbcl v1.0i decrypting premiere via pc

just waiting for more funds then i shall enter the world of dreambox with a dm 600 pvr i think or get a 7020 off ebay
 
I found that the software loaders to upload new images was pretty crappy so I would definitely recommend installing a new image via mmc

You'll need to install the original 005 image before updating to either Juliet or UR 008 beta whatever it is now.

To install an image via mmc just copy the image files into the root of the card turn the box off and insert the card.
Switch the box on and wait for it to update.
Once finished switch the power off and remove the card
On reboot all should be wonderful

I think this box is just a poor mans Dreambox and as I'm poor and didn't have a Dreambox it was a great way of watching TV.
My old TM 1500 will still be used but at least with the 9100 I can update keys and cams etc from my armchair and after a hard day at work there is no other place I'd rather be.

Sounds a bit sad but I think you all know what I mean

Chmod folder to 755.. sorry for late reply. had the same prob myself when i tried doing something..
 
I might be down on this site as the most indecisive member when it comes to buying a new receiver - but I just ordered a 9100 from wizard also.

!!!

Hope to report my sucesses and help create an idiots guide for it on here if one is needed!
