At light speed, a billion miles is covered in just under 90 minutes, if you are travelling at almost zero mass.

(BTW, I was talking of US billions, a magnitude or so smaller than the real thing) :cool:

What about we had aliens visiting us but they are invisible?

Surely this is a possibility as we don't know anything about it and it could be anything like life in energy fields visiting earth with higher intelligence.

They could indeed be posing as helium filled foil party balloons for all anyone on earth knows ;)

Quite possible, they could be responsible for items suddenly going missing and then reappear elsewhere, when you are certain you know where they were.

There are millions of pens going missing every single day in every office on earth, but only few are found again (when they are found they usually look beat up and most of the ink is missing). So maybe the invisible Aliens could have something to do with it, or even more worriying:Them Aliens come to earth discuised as red, green or black pens out to read everything we write! :eek:

this planet is engulfed with aliens - we see them as mice but they're really beings from the planet beezelproxipradriblafraast.

Well, if they want to kill us, they have already do that before we discover something, because they were here always, watching us and learning with us...that's funtastic and badly funtastic, because they're more powerfull that we're...but...it's better to not to boring them...lol.

Well, thinking about it makes me a digusting feeling, because as you say" are stolen millions of pens every day and when are found usually look beat up and most of the ink is missing", the first idea that comes to my head is that they drink the ink and eat the plastic but why do they don't eat other plastic things(like mouses, motherboards, cell phones...etc).
Well, it will gonna be always a mystery...
