nilesat 301

I have lost sight of the 11900V 27500!!! TV5Maghreb and 20+ channels!Gone!!
why have they changed it? It worked much better before!!!
Or,a technical mistake?

in what way?The footprint looks even better for me...
 
Southwestern Europe used to have advantages with Nilsat 201. Now it's the other way around, and reception with Nilsat 301 is better further east.
I never had reception on Nilsat 201. I now get 301 occasionally, and other transponders work well.
 
Indeed, I've had 3-4dB less from 201.

today is a little bit better
I can't receive 12303 H. The strong transponders from 7.3 degrees west are probably interfering and blocking it.

do you get the 11900H 27500?
 
To my knowledge, there is no 11900 H transponder.

At my location all 301 tps appear to be very stable, never below 9dB.

so,i hopeTV5 Orient will move to another 201 transponder...would be nice!
 
201 is slowly saying "Goodbye" and will in total be replaced by 301.

Like all of us, age sees EOL......end of life, sadly true but we with luck last a wee bit longer than satellites. :-congrats
